Although the fandom is still crazy and passionate these days, this can be understood from the fact that these shows have remained popular and among the most-watched shows on platforms like Netflix as of 2022. But actors and actresses have evolved since then, they have appeared in many shows, movies, commercials, music videos, and other videos. NINA DOBREV (SICK GIRL, THE OUT-LAWS)
Nina Dobrev has probably been the most successful post-TVD career. The actress shocked everyone when she left the show after season six, and her departure forced showrunners to radically change the storyline and take the show in a different direction. She would eventually return for another appearance in the final episode that concluded her character's arc. Nina has appeared in several successful films since then. Her first short film, The One, received rave reviews from critics who praised her directorial debut. Nina will soon appear in another Netflix movie called "The Out-Laws". It is a comedy starring Pierce Brosnan and Adam Devine in the titular roles. The movie is about a bank manager (played by Adam) who finds his bank being robbed and suspects that the culprits are none other than his future in-laws. Another upcoming movie for the actress is Sick Girl directed by Jennifer Cram and starring Wendy Covey and Brandon Smith along with Nina.

Phoebe Tonkin is best known for her roles in fantasy dramas such as The Secret Circle, H20: Just Add Water, The Vampire Diaries, and The Originals. She rose to fame with H20: Just Add water which also featured Claire Holt in the titular role, Phoebe played as a mermaid named Cleo. Her next big hit came when she was cast as Faye Chamberlain, a witch in "The Secret Circle. But it was TVD & The Originals that launched her career to great heights. After the originals, she appeared in a series titled Bloom and also appeared in a drama titled Safe Harbor. In 2021, it was announced that Phoebe Tonkin has joined the cast of Babylon, a star-studded movie featuring Brad Pitt, Tobey Maguire, Margot Robbie, and many other stars. This big-budget movie was originally scheduled to release on January 7, 2022, but the date has been moved to January 6, 2023 The movie is set in 1920s Hollywood, which is experiencing a major shift from the silent era to the talkies.
LAUREN COHAN (ISLE OF THE DEAD)
While Lauren Cohan's time on The Vampire Diaries was short, she portrayed The Vampire Flower in season two, Catherine Born. Rose develops a strong friendship with Damon and she sees through his facade and knows that he cares deeply. Rose's death is one of the heartbreaking moments in The Vampire Diaries. Lauren rose to international fame with her role as Maggie Greene in The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead is coming to a close, as work is underway on a theatrical performance called "Isle of the Dead" in New York City. The series will feature Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan in the lead roles that will re-enact their characters in The Walking Dead.
PAUL WESLEY (STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS)
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is the original Paramount + series that serves as a prequel to the original Star Trek series. It is also part of the Star Trek: Discovery series. The show will start on May 5 and the season will consist of 10 episodes. The show follows the adventures of Captain Pike and his talented crew as they navigate different worlds in their spaceship dealing with various threats. TVD Fame Paul Wesley who played Stefan Salvatore in TVD Universe has been cast as James Tiberius Kirk. The iconic character first appeared in Star Trek: The Original Series and was played by legendary actor William Shatner.
Paul also once revealed about the time he met William Shatner and was so touched by the actor's presence that he couldn't put a coherent sentence together, but later collected his senses and had a great conversation with him. He considers it a great honor to be cast as Captain James Kirk in the upcoming Star Trek series. Paul Wesley also appeared in the thriller "Tell Me A Story" anthology series.
JOSEPH MORGAN (TITANS)
Joseph Morgan is best known for playing the infamous Klaus Mickelson on TVD Universe. The actor joined TVD Season 2 as the main antagonist Klaus Mikaelson. Although his character wasn't supposed to last long and was due to be written off in season 3. But the charisma and popularity of Joseph Morgan as Klaus forced the creators to reconsider their decision. This would eventually lead to Klaus getting his spin-off series "The Originals" revolving around the Mikaelsons. The actor has since appeared on shows like Animal Kingdom and Brave New World. In 2022, it was announced that Joseph joined the cast of the DC Titans as Sebastian Blood as a regular in Season 4.
