Supernatural: 10 Riskiest Things Dean Has Done

To be honest Dean in Supernatural is the Riskest Character you will see he willing to do anything in order to defeat the monsters and save his family

Welcome Back Nation TV, Heroes must take risks to urge things done. Dean Winchester is not any exception, and he makes some borderline crazy choices in Supernatural. They compute often enough that season 15 has poked fun at it with two episodes about luck, but even once they compute it makes the viewer nervous.

What's worse is that Dean is usually gambling with cosmic forces. he is not just risking getting caught by the cops or something, he's risking death or worse. Dean always takes risks and determination in the face of those risks which makes him the hero that fans love. Here are a number of the riskiest decisions Dean's made within the show.

Supernatural Shows To Watch If You Love The Supernatural World

Dying to meet Death

that move was so risky. Dean wanted to urge Sam's soul back from hell partially out of fear of the new Sam. So he paid someone to offer him a lethal injection then bring him back from the dead, with great care he could ask Death about retrieving the soul. It's debatable whether this was riskier than his later plan to summon Death and bind him, but Dean had no guarantee that Death would comply with help him, or maybe comply with let him leave when the doctor revived him. He could've died with a soulless Sam still roaming around on Earth.

Going To The Michael-Lucifer Fight With No Plan

Dean spent all of season 5 trying to stop this fight. He and Sam's final decision to beat Lucifer was for Sam to mention yes then jump into Lucifer's cage willingly. When that failed, Dean didn't come up with any better plans. He rolled up into Stull Cemetery with no way of truly beating Lucifer or Michael.

He just wanted to speak to Sam however briefly. Both Castiel and Bobby got killed within the process, and Dean got a beatdown. it had been mostly sheer dumb luck that Sam finally regained enough control to open the cage and jump in.

Swallowing Phoenix Ash

While this does not necessarily stick out together of his riskier moves, it's actually terrifying on reconsideration. Dean pulled an ingenious trick in season 6, getting Eve to ingest the lethal phoenix ash by swallowing it himself and persuading her to bite him. But he didn't actually know that it might work. What if the phoenix ash didn't really get into his bloodstream? What if it didn't prevent her from turning him into a monster? And what if the ashes were toxic to humans? there have been numerous ways this could've gone wrong, but this gamble, fortunately, paid off.

Acting As A Bomb For Amara

Fighting God's sister will necessarily cause some desperate measures. If this plan with the soul-bomb had worked, it would've guaranteed Dean's death. Yet it had been still risky therein if it didn't work, everyone on the earth could die all along with him. and therefore the magic for it had been fairly experimental since nobody had ever tried to kill God's sister. And This Act Didn't work She Know it before Dean does anything. Lucky for Dean that did not involve the death of himself or any of his friends.

Supernatural - 10 Strongest Supernatural Characters With Their Strengths And Weaknesses

Deliberately getting to Prison

Sam and Dean were on the incorrect side of the law all the way back in season 1. Their crimes pile up, a number of them permanently reasons and a few for bad. So actually letting themselves get caught in season 2 was incredibly dangerous. They were just about bound to get convictions if they visited trial, they would not be hunting monsters anymore, and worse still they could be trapped during a haunted prison. They did it to assist hunt a ghost and return a favor, but escaping from jail is not any walk in the park even with help.

Summoning Castiel

Castiel clothed to be a fan-favorite and a hero in his title. But the boys didn't know he was an honest guy when Dean was mysteriously pulled from hell. All Dean knew was that something had the facility to yank him out of hell which even demons were scared of it.

He knew that he will burn out Pamela's eyes (However this was unintentional on Castiel's part, but Still he tried to warn her). Summoning an unknown entity with the facility to steal a soul from hell and terrify demons may be a scary proposition, but he desperately needed to understand what was happening.

Trapping Raphael

Archangels began as terrifying creatures on the supernatural. Castiel's power as a lower angel was enough to possess demons shaking in their shoes, so his superiors were an enormous threat. Antagonizing one by trapping it in holy fire, especially while said angels were trying to hunt him down, wasn't necessarily the neatest move. Dean took this risk for Castiel to assist him to get answers about God and therefore the apocalypse, and that they did gather some significant information. Better still, Dean walked away without being taken to Michael or coerced into being a vessel.

Accepting The Mark Of Cain

This was another of Dean's risks that crossed the road into stupid. Although he was determined to kill  Abaddon by any means necessary. He accepted the bloodlust and the loss of control, and he end-up becoming a Demon. This risk also led to him to kill Sam and making Death throw Dean out into the universe for all eternity. While he did get the work done killing Abaddon, the worth was ultimately way too high, and he'd are happier if he kept trying to find alternatives.

Ranking And Comparing The Different Portrayals Of The Devil Lucifer

Trusting Crowley With Killing Dick Roman

The boys needed the "three bloods of the fallen" to kill the top of the leviathans. That included Crowley because the King of Hell and thus fallen humans. The trick is, they didn't actually see him extract the blood. He had it already bottled up in order that they couldn't know needless to say if it had been his or not. It wasn't the primary time they'd worked with Crowley, but working with Crowley was always dangerous. He had a suggestion from Dick Roman that the boys couldn't make certain he wouldn't put before them and therefore the world. Fortunately, Crowley saw Dick and therefore the leviathans because of the bigger problem.

Trusting Gadreel With Sam

Dean has made a habit of defying death. He's particularly adamant about keeping Sam alive even when the results are dire. So sending out a random call to any angel listening (when many of them hate his guts) wasn't an unusual risk for him. However, he'd planned on just having them heal Sam if possible. He didn't expect it to show into having an angel possess Sam, especially when that cannot be done against his will. Dean tricked his brother into accepting possession by an angel he'd just met. and ended so badly, precipitating, and the death of Kevin Tran with others.
