A new trailer for Batman has been shown during NBA All-Star Weekend and shows the Dark Knight flying over Gotham City. In less than two weeks Matt Reeve's standalone reboot will be showing in theaters. The film stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne\Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle\Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald Coplebot/Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as Lieutenant James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Paul Dano: Edward Nashton\Ridler.
Ben Affleck was heading his own DCEU version of The Batman. In 2019, it was announced that 'Batfleck' would no longer exist and that "Battinson" would take over for another reboot. The choice of Twilight's Pattinson movie sparked mixed reactions online until the first teaser for The Batman was released during the DC FanDome in 2020. The teaser is set on Nirvana's Something in the Way, with the teaser revealing Reeves' thriller featuring Batman's bravery. And the iconic line: I'm the Vengeance - which instantly silenced all the naysayers. Every subsequent trailer, trailer, and\or first look has fueled anticipation for one of the biggest films of the year.
During the NBA All-Star Weekend on TNT, Riddler appears to have hijacked the broadcast to reveal new footage from The Batman of the head crusader jumping off a building. The teaser also focuses on the protagonist's announcement of "revenge" while teasing the hunt for Riddler and the relationship with Catwoman. Check it out below:

Inspired by comics like Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli in Batman: Year One, Batman focuses on the Dark Knight's second year as a vigilante in Gotham City. The first major antagonist of Batman is Dano's Riddler, a serial killer who targets Gotham's corrupt elites and leaves a hidden trail of clues for the "world's greatest detective. All of The Batman trailers indicate that Riddler already knows Bruce as Batman. His obsession with Bruce appears to have something to do with the questionable history of the Wayne family - as he prepares to challenge Bruce/Batman's decision to drive with fury and embody among his fellow citizens.
One of the character's most famous lines, "I'm Vengeance," is a nod to the moment in Batman: The Animated Series. In Season 1, Episode 3, "Nothing to Fear," the Scarecrow conjures up seeing Bruce's parents accuse him of failing. While his father was warning him, Batman (Kevin Conroy) replied 'No! You're not my dad. I'm not a disgrace. I'm revenge! I'm the night! I'm Batman!" The fact that Reeves calls this quote bodes well for The Dark Knight. From the action sequences and cinematography to the score of composer Michael Giacchino, the upcoming movie appears to have everything fans could want from a contemporary Batman flick. It remains to be seen if The Batman lives up to expectations when it hits theaters on March 4, 2022, and on HBO Max on April 19, 2022.
