Welcome Back Nation TV, Syfy's hit series The Magicians is getting Cancelled, after the fifth season being its last season. The Magicians is an adaptation of the Lev Grossman fantasy book Show of the same title that first premiered on Syfy in 2015. The show has served over 4 seasons, despite only having three Magicians books, The Magicians co-showrunner John McNamara expected future development of the Show even after season 4 and thought the success of the show past its source material was due to the ability of the actors and their commitment to the characters.
McNamara has announced he initially did not assume the source material to carry the show past season 3. Still, The Magicians has got lots of ways to expand upon Grossman's story, which serves a group of young adults visiting a school for magic in New York City. Though the show initially follows Quentin Coldwater (Jason Ralph), his friends - and foes - become key figures in the story of The Magicians as it goes on, Now, though the Syfy show will be coming to an end.

viewers were satisfied with the release of The Magicians season 5 renewal last year. The Magicians season 4 finale served as an emotional cliffhanger given the death of one of the show's main characters, which was not shocking to fans who have seen many creative twists and turns occur in the show. Netflix has released 8 Episodes from Season 5, and the show got 341.000 Viewers with a 0.1 demo rating with 42 down and 37 percent from the final season, it makes sense why would Syfy want to Cancel this Show, even if the show was good for the fans Networks have based renewal decisions on the rating for decades and The Magicians, rating is decreased
