Lucifer completely dominates the broadcast ratings

Welcome Back Nation, Ask any Lucifer fan to guess how popular the second half of Season 5 is and they'll probably be pretty excited. After all, the show has a massive global audience that it managed to save after it was cancelled by Fox after its third season.

The Real Reason Why God Came To Earth in Season 5

Well, there are Nielsen streaming ratings, and Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 (released May 28) completely dominated and gave Netflix a big win. On IndieWire, Lucifer easily took first place for the week of May 24-30 with 1,284 million minutes watched, much more than the second Kominsky Method (495 million minutes) and third place Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous (470 million minutes) subscriber.

Lucifer (Netflix) — 1,284 million minutes

The Kominsky Method (Netflix) — 495 million minutes

Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous (Netflix) — 470 million minutes

The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu) — 439 million minutes

Ragnarok (Netflix) — 429 million minutes

Panic (2021) (Amazon) — 192 million minutes

The Great British Baking Show (Netflix) — 179 million minutes

Lucifer Takes #1 in the Ratings During a Slow Week for Disney +

It'll be interesting to see how Lucifer's numbers play against the premiere of Loki, which debuted June 9 on Disney+. Although Lucifer will likely still be on the rating list by the time the data is reported (there is a one-month delay in reporting due to an agreement with streaming sites), we'd be curious to see and compare it.

God Invites Lucifer to Family Dinner

Lucifer and Loki's numbers aren't like apples, as Lucifer dropped all eight episodes, and Loki airs new episodes weekly. However, the only real competition Netflix has ever had in the streaming space so far is from Disney+. Will Loki's premiere hit more than 1,284 million watched minutes? This is possible, although we should note that Nielsen's data includes only US viewers.

All Of Lucifer's Brother & Sister Archangels Season 5

This news is a huge win for Netflix. Lucifer was supposed to be a season one on Netflix, which extended into season five and eventually the final sixth season to come later. Fans have been supportive of the player due to their dedication to the beloved show, so it will be interesting to see what happens after the series finale. Maybe spin-off? we would like to see other angels go through what lucifer have on earth maybe spin-off about Michael we know that in season 6 we will see Michael deal with the fact that he can't fly anymore he probably will have to deal with the humans like Lucifer,
